Rachel's Gift™ products grew out of a heart-felt and very personal commitment to make a positive difference in the lives of those facing breast and ovarian cancer. No one is untouched. In some way at some point in our lives we are all impacted. Together and separately we felt compelled to take action that would bring inspiration, awareness and hope.

This joint venture evolved from the collective heart, mind and soul of Deborah Pomeranz, MBA and Shendl Diamond, MA. Together, Shendl and Deborah developed their vision into Rachel's Gift -Dedicated to Making a Difference.

Deborah is a business development liaison for a non-profit organization and the proud mom of ten-year-old Rachel, the source of our name. She is passionate about increasing the awareness of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Her journey has been a very personal one and in an effort to connect with other people facing the risk of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer, Deborah generously shares her time and expertise.

Shendl is a certified life coach, artist and author. She initially designed our "Live, Love, Play" t-shirt with the hope of bringing inspiration and support to a dear friend facing the challenges of a double mastectomy and chemotherapy. It didn't hold the cure for cancer, but it did make a loving and positive difference. Shendl's shares a deep commitment to making difference in the lives of those facing a variety of life challenges.

A significant part of our goal is to increase awareness of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Increased awareness saves lives and provides options. We are working to increase awareness that will transcend race, gender and generations. Our hope is to provide information that will encourage individuals to make empowered health-care choices.

Toward that end, proceeds from the sale of each t-shirt will be donated to FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered). FORCE is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources and improving the lives of individuals and families affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. We appreciate your support. Thank you.
